Introduction To Thomas Energy Consulting

Well, here is my new website folks. It took a bit of work, but this web based platform at wix.com made it easy.

First off, I hope everyone is managing to stay healthy and happy in these crazy, unchartered times.

I got the idea for Thomas Energy Consulting after myself and most other people I knew either lost jobs or got hours cut back mainly due to the covid19 outbreak. I won't get started on the virus itself or coinciding economic collapse. The fact is that we are where we are, and there's nothing the average person can really do about it, but follow the rules set out for us, and hope for the best.

So, trying to keep optimistic, I'm going to approach this as if it is actually an opportunity. With the fewer hours I'm putting in these days, I have free time to fill. I thought I would reach back into my 20+ years experience in the oilpatch and offer services on a contract basis. Since I know alot of companies had to cut back on payroll, and that meant unfortunately some positions had to be let go. However, I know there are still some items that need to be dealt with from time to time. I figured if I start a company to help with these items, maybe I could fill up my available time, and the long term goal would be to get enough work to help some others get back to work as well.

So, as the services in the website list, I would like to offer any type of technical and supervisory services on a contract basis. I have first hand experience in all of the services listed (optimization, opex reduction, operations, well servicing/abandonments, and construction.) And if any projects come up beyond my available time, I have an extensive network of very qualified people that I can source from to cover any and all needs.
